Engineer II - Test (Semiconductor IC)

What you will do

• Develop pre-silicon characterization test plans based on product features.
• Develop test programs and ATE boards for new and existing IC products.
• Debug test programs and execute characterization, validation, qualification, and correlation activities.
• Analyze silicon performance, production yield, device marginalities, and multi-source data.
• Drive cost, quality, manufacturability, and process improvements across fabrication, assembly, probing, final test, and supply chain operations.
• Investigate customer returns and collaborate with quality, applications, manufacturing, and customer teams to resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in semiconductor IC development.
• Strong understanding of digital and analog circuits from transistor to system level.
• Hands-on experience with ATE hardware and software, such as Diamond X, J750, or Uflex.
• Advanced statistical data analysis skills and proficiency with scripting languages such as Perl and tools such as YieldHub.
• Experience with Git, SVN, or Perforce, Linux/Unix and Windows environments, and bench laboratory equipment.
