Senior Principal Engineer, Test Solutions Engineering (West Coast US) (Semiconductor)

Salary: $173,280–$259,600 per annum, plus bonus and equity plans

What you will do

• Build and lead a new regional Test Solutions Engineering team in the West Coast US.
• Serve as the primary technical expert for ATE-based production test development and lead test solution development, validation, and release.
• Own test architecture and bring-up from design start through new product introduction and production ramp.
• Drive root-cause analysis, debugging, silicon characterization, test coverage, test limits, screening methods, and test-time optimization.
• Partner with customers and design, DFT, product engineering, operations, quality, and global test engineering teams.
• Support reliability qualification, stress testing, failure analysis, manufacturing test improvement, and yield performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10–15+ years of experience in custom processor or ASIC product engineering, test engineering, DFT, or technology characterization.
• Expertise in product engineering and test development, Automated Test Equipment, semiconductor process technology, or reliability and qualification methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead technical execution across complex programs and mentor engineers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Applicants must be eligible to access U.S. export-controlled technology; some candidates may require export licensing review.

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
