Phlebotomist (Home Healthcare)

Location: Tacoma, Washington, with travel to patients' homes throughout the assigned service area

Compensation: $24–$28 per hour

What you will do

• Travel to patients' homes and provide blood draws, vital sign measurements, height and weight assessments, urine collection, Annual Wellness Visit support, and other preventive and diagnostic services.
• Perform comfortable and accurate blood draws, including challenging sticks.
• Create a warm, professional patient experience in a variety of home environments.
• Document visits using Sprinter technology, electronic health records, telehealth platforms, and other digital tools.
• Label, handle, and transport specimens for laboratory drop-off or shipment.
• Independently manage schedules, supplies, driving, and patient visits throughout the day.

Requirements

• Strong phlebotomy skills and experience with challenging blood draws.
• Patient-facing healthcare experience as a Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, LPN, or LVN; home healthcare experience is preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle are required.
• Availability Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., including the ability to drive before 7:00 a.m. for early appointments.
• Ability to meet applicable state-specific certification or licensing requirements, use Apple iPhones and iPads, lift and carry up to 25 lbs., and spend prolonged periods driving, standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
