Software Engineer I (AI)

Location: Hybrid, onsite three days per week from the Sharon, Pennsylvania or Jacksonville, Florida office

What you will do

• Develop, test, debug, deploy, and maintain software applications and services.
• Participate in requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support across the full SDLC.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code in line with engineering standards.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, product managers, and quality engineers through sprint planning, code reviews, and design discussions.
• Investigate software defects and production issues, and contribute to improvements in code quality, automation, performance, and reliability.
• Create technical documentation and learn product platforms, development standards, and industry regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 0–3 years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and understanding of object-oriented design and software development fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Git, basic database concepts, and SQL.
• Ability to work onsite three days per week from the Sharon, Pennsylvania or Jacksonville, Florida office.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and continuous-learning skills, including an AI-first approach to software development.

Nice to have

• Experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, or related Microsoft technologies.
• Experience with Angular and exposure to cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, web services, enterprise integrations, Agile methodologies, or automated testing frameworks.
