Pharmacy Dispenser (Pharmacy)

Location: Daventry, United Kingdom; onsite at the Daventry Superstore pharmacy

Salary: £13.70 per hour, rising to £14.97 per hour in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments.

What you will do

• Support the daily operation of a modern Tesco Pharmacy as part of a collaborative team.
• Accurately dispense prescription medicines and complete prescription administration on time.
• Provide friendly advice on medicines, common ailments, over-the-counter products, and pharmacy services.
• Handle customer queries within competence and refer customers to the pharmacist when expert advice is required.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Support promotional activities and company initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience or qualifications gained from working in a pharmacy environment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to make responsible decisions for customers.
• Ability to build rapport, provide confident customer service, and communicate openly with colleagues.
• Positive, team-focused approach with a willingness to train and develop in the pharmacy field.
• Availability for scheduled shifts on Tuesday 10:00–19:30, Thursday 14:00–21:00, and Saturday 09:00–18:00.
