Install Qualification Operations Specialist (Semiconductor)

Location: Onsite five days per week in Hillsboro, Oregon, United States

What you will do

• Drive equipment installation milestones from set, rigging, placement, hookup, and energization through supplier and hirify.global qualification.
• Coordinate construction, manufacturing, design, OEM, trade contractor, and supplier activities.
• Develop micro schedules and pull plans, manage SET-to-SL2 construction paths, and coordinate facility readiness testing.
• Validate tool installation scope, OEM data, routing, space requirements, and alignment with hirify.global standards.
• Manage supplier contracts, KPIs, scorecards, SLAs, operational budgets, and handoffs from construction to vendor qualification.
• Apply Lean principles, document lessons learned, and improve installation methods, quality, and cycle times.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, business, or a related field plus 1+ year of relevant experience; or an associate degree related to semiconductor manufacturing plus 3+ years of experience; or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Relevant experience may include project management, equipment or engineering tool ownership, installation, qualification, demonstration, or maintenance technician work.
• Ability to work onsite in a cleanroom and construction environment and navigate construction areas when required.
• Project management skills covering planning, scheduling, risk mitigation, organization, and time management.

Nice to have

• Experience with planar tool installation or demonstrations and medium- or large-scale construction or tool installation programs.
• PMP certification and experience with station controller setup, automation, panel shutdowns, FPOCs, eFITs, tool crating, de-crating, or AIO.
• Knowledge of hirify.global systems including EMS, SIRFIS, Fuzion, QUEST, IMCS, Capacity Planning, SLS, and 6D.
• Experience managing daily third-party supplier operations and tool installation, qualification, or maintenance specifications.
