Scientist/Sr Scientist (Mass Spectrometry Proteomics)

What you will do

• Design, develop, optimize, and implement high-throughput mass spectrometry-based proteomics workflows and screening platforms.
• Perform automated sample preparation and LC-MS/MS analyses across diverse high-throughput proteomics assays.
• Analyze and interpret proteomics data to assess mechanism of action, target engagement, selectivity, and related drug-discovery questions.
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve high-throughput mass spectrometry systems and analytical workflows.
• Collaborate with therapeutic area, biology, and chemistry teams as a technical and scientific subject-matter expert.
• Present findings and maintain accurate documentation of experiments, protocols, methods, and analyses.

Requirements

• PhD, PharmD, or MD with relevant experience; or a master’s degree with 2 years of directly related experience; or a bachelor’s degree with 4 years of directly related experience.
• Hands-on experience developing, optimizing, and applying mass spectrometry-based proteomics assays and workflows.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting advanced LC-MS/MS platforms, including Orbitrap-based systems, and analyzing proteomics data.
• Experience with high-throughput sample preparation, assay miniaturization, laboratory automation, or analytical platform development.
• Strong quantitative, computational, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and generate reliable, reproducible results in a biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or drug-discovery environment.

Nice to have

• Doctorate in proteomics, chemoproteomics, biochemistry, chemistry, analytical science, or a related discipline.
• Experience developing, refining, or scaling assays, analytical methods, or proteomics platforms.
• Experience in a biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or drug-discovery research environment.
