Maintenance Standards Technician

Location: Regional role covering the UK; 60% of the week at office locations or local sites and the rest remotely

What you will do

• Deliver the Maintenance Standards Assurance Programme across field operations.
• Carry out audits and assurance activities covering maintenance processes, systems, and operational standards.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to field management teams to improve performance and consistency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and develop localised improvement plans with field teams.
• Coach colleagues, technicians, contractors, and external suppliers on maintenance processes, systems, and technology.
• Deliver onboarding and ongoing training, maintain training content, and analyse audit and assurance data.

Requirements

• Experience in field service delivery and operational environments.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, or conducting peer reviews.
• Knowledge of asset management principles and maintenance operations.
• Understanding of quality management systems and standards, including ISO 9001.
• Experience with process improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologies.
• Strong communication, influencing, planning, data interpretation, training, and facilitation skills.
