Field Service Engineers

Location: Dereham Rd, Norwich, UK; field-based work with travel throughout the assigned region, including occasional overnight stays. A full UK driving licence is required.

Salary: GBP 35,000–GBP 41,000 per year

What you will do

• Install, maintain, repair, and optimise reverse vending machines at customer sites.
• Support the installation, commissioning, and rollout of new recycling equipment across the UK.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and complete preventative and reactive repairs.
• Build professional relationships with customers and site contacts while delivering responsive technical support.
• Record service activity, machine status, and updates using digital systems.
• Follow safety procedures, contribute feedback, and support continuous technical improvement.

Requirements

• Foundation in electro-mechanical systems and an interest in analysing, testing, and repairing complex equipment.
• Customer-focused approach with clear and confident communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
• Flexibility to travel, manage a field-based schedule, work approved overtime, and occasionally work weekends.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• From October 2027, availability for a rota-based shift pattern with weekend coverage is required.
