Scientist, Bioinformatics (AI)

Location: Englewood, New Jersey, United States. Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship is required.

Salary: $155,000–$230,000 per year base pay. Additional compensation of $10,000–$40,000 per year may be available.

What you will do

• Conduct complex bioinformatics analyses of genomics, transcriptomic, proteomic, metabolomic, and lipidomic datasets.
• Integrate multi-omic data within personalized medicine research.
• Discover personalized biomarkers for complex and difficult-to-diagnose phenotypes.
• Design and build pipelines and algorithms for database querying and large-scale dataset analysis.
• Apply machine learning, Bayesian modeling, network-based similarity methods, and factorization techniques to biological datasets.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Biomedical Science.
• Extensive experience in computational biology, bioinformatics, and data science.
• Experience incorporating AI tools into bioinformatics workflows.
• Expertise in multi-omics integration, systems biology, network medicine, precision medicine, and personalized medicine.
• Strong machine learning, statistical modeling, data cleaning, transformation, and visualization skills.
• Programming experience for machine-learning and statistical pipelines, preferably in Python.

Nice to have

• Extensive knowledge of AI and machine-learning algorithms applied to biological datasets.
• Strong understanding of Bayesian statistics and methods.
• Interest in disease models and aging biology.
