Pharmacy Dispenser

Location: Farnworth Superstore, Bolton, United Kingdom. On-site pharmacy role with contracted hours scheduled within the stated availability windows.

Salary: £13.70 per hour, rising to £14.97 per hour in stores within the M25. Minimum 16 hours per week guaranteed; roles from 12 hours may also be available.

What you will do

• Support the daily operation of a modern Tesco Pharmacy.
• Accurately dispense prescription medicines and complete prescription administration on time.
• Provide friendly advice on medicines, common ailments, products, and pharmacy services.
• Handle customer queries within your competence and refer complex matters to the pharmacist.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Support promotional activities and company initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience or qualifications gained in a pharmacy environment.
• Interest in training and developing in the pharmacy field.
• Strong attention to detail and customer-care skills.
• Ability to build rapport, communicate openly, and work effectively with colleagues.
• Ability to make responsible decisions about over-the-counter guidance and prescription queries.
