Pharmacist (Weekends priority!)

Location: Verda Park, Wallingford, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom; regular work on at least one weekend day each week is required.

What you will do

• Follow standard operating procedures and maintain pharmacy practice standards and compliance.
• Check dispensed prescriptions, coordinate courier dispatch, and support timely order fulfilment.
• Develop and maintain pharmacy procedures with the Superintendent Pharmacist, Head of Pharmacy, and Pharmacy Manager.
• Deputise for the Pharmacy Manager and help train and develop the pharmacy workforce.
• Manage near misses, create action plans, and work with Risk and Safety to resolve incidents.
• Support medicine compounding, inventory management, service development, and patient experience improvements.

Requirements

• Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• High level of professional pharmacy expertise and knowledge of pharmacy operations and national and local services.
• Strong communication skills for face-to-face interactions with patients and customers.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a passion for pharmacy and customer care.
• Availability for at least one or both weekend days on a regular, weekly basis.
