Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (Digital Health)

Salary: £42,000–£45,000 per year

What you will do

• Carry out accuracy checks on dispensed medicines in line with legal, operational, and safety standards.
• Own the end-to-end dispensing process and maintain accurate prescription records.
• Identify and escalate discrepancies before they become incidents.
• Mentor junior colleagues and support a culture of accountability, safety, and quality.
• Keep up to date with professional development, best practice, and regulatory changes.
• Work with the wider pharmacy team to ensure patients receive the medicines they need safely and accurately.

Requirements

• Level 3 NVQ in Pharmacy Services (ACT) or an equivalent ACT qualification.
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC is required.
• Proven pharmacy experience with a strong track record in accuracy checking.
• Strong working knowledge of pharmacy regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail, direct communication, and personal accountability.
• Commitment to patient outcomes and safe, high-quality pharmacy care.
