Pharmacy Dispenser

Location: Scunthorpe, Gallagher Park, Doncaster Road, DN15 8GR, United Kingdom; in office/on location

Salary: £13.70–£14.97 per hour, depending on store location. Minimum 16 hours per week guaranteed; roles from 12 hours may also be available.

What you will do

• Support the daily operation of a modern Tesco Pharmacy as part of a collaborative store team.
• Dispense prescription medicines accurately and complete prescription administration on time.
• Provide friendly advice on medicines, common ailments, over-the-counter products, and pharmacy services.
• Handle customer queries within competence and refer matters to the pharmacist when required.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Support promotional activities and company initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience or qualifications gained in a pharmacy environment, or a desire to train and develop in pharmacy.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to make responsible decisions for customers.
• Ability to build rapport quickly and provide confident, reassuring customer service.
• Positive, team-focused communication and collaboration skills.
• Availability for the required shifts, including Saturday 09:00–19:00, Thursday and Friday 13:00–21:00, and Tuesday 09:00–13:00.
• Applicants must have passed the applicable school-leaving age.
