What you will do

• Gather and compile information from internal and external sources according to company guidelines.
• Extract and analyze data from business processes, including pricing, underwriting, agency management, product distribution, and claims.
• Define data sets, data sources, assumptions, and appropriate formats for presenting analysis.
• Develop recommendations by applying knowledge of insurance operations, underwriting methodologies, and performance measurement techniques.
• Provide analytical and technical support to product managers and internal partners.
• Communicate findings, request information, and build relationships with business partners.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in insurance, actuarial science, mathematics, risk management, economics, finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• Strong word-processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software skills.
• Ability to analyze data, identify underlying issues, develop alternative solutions, and follow through.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with internal and external contacts.
• Ability to organize and present detailed analysis, prioritize work, learn quickly, take initiative, and work independently.
