What you will do

• Evaluate specimen acceptability according to established criteria.
• Perform routine and complex clinical laboratory procedures following standard operating procedures.
• Monitor, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instrumentation.
• Prepare, test, and evaluate reagents and controls.
• Report accurate and timely test results to support patient care.
• Document preventative maintenance and quality control procedures, replenish supplies, and assist with specimen processing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical or biological science, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.
• At least one year of clinical laboratory testing experience in flow cytometry.
• General knowledge of flow cytometry, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry, and hematology.
• Computer proficiency and familiarity with laboratory information systems.
• Ability to work independently and within a team, with strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test and work overtime or other shifts when required.

Nice to have

• ASCP or AMT certification.
