Senior Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in Vienna, Virginia or Pensacola, Florida, United States. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Salary: $99,400–$155,850 annually.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and evaluate moderately complex predictive models and advanced algorithms.
• Analyze large datasets and metadata to identify insights and support mission-critical decisions.
• Test hypotheses and models, interpret results, and use trend analysis to guide business decisions.
• Develop software programs, algorithms, and automated processes for data analysis.
• Transform data into charts, tables, and other formats that support effective decision-making.
• Lead small projects, collaborate with subject matter experts, and present findings to diverse stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 3–5 years of experience in exploratory data analysis.
• Knowledge of statistics, programming, data modeling, simulation, and advanced mathematics.
• Experience with SQL, R, Python, Hadoop, SAS, SPSS, Scala, and AWS.
• Knowledge of model lifecycle execution, model development, technical writing, data storytelling, and technical presentations.
• United States work authorization without current or future sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
