What you will do

  • Conjugate antibodies with bifunctional chelating agents and fluorescent probes using validated protocols.
  • Characterize antibody bioconjugates with SE-HPLC, SDS-PAGE, Western blot, and UV/Vis spectroscopy.
  • Radiolabel conjugated antibodies with Zr-89, Cu-64, and other radionuclides, then purify products for same-day imaging studies.
  • Perform radio-HPLC, radio-iTLC, and gamma-counting quality control testing.
  • Maintain mammalian cell cultures and run cell-based assays to validate tracer binding and function.
  • Coordinate tracer preparation with imaging scientists and therapeutic-area project teams while maintaining laboratory and radiation-safety records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemical Biology, or a related field, plus 1–2 years of laboratory experience.
  • Hands-on experience with protein chemistry and bioconjugation, or strong foundational knowledge and willingness to learn.
  • Experience with HPLC, FPLC, or column chromatography and mammalian cell culture.
  • Comfort working with radioactive materials and willingness to complete radiation-safety training.
  • Computer proficiency, including Excel, Prism or similar data-analysis software, and electronic laboratory notebook systems.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and communicate effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
