What you will do

• Develop, validate, transfer, and support analytical methods for drug substances and drug products.
• Prepare and analyze synthetic in-process samples, lot release samples, and drug product formulations.
• Use chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques across small molecules, synthetic peptides, siRNA, and synthetic components of antibody–drug conjugates.
• Document analytical data according to Good Documentation Practice in an electronic laboratory notebook.
• Present analytical results to support drug substance and drug product development.
• Transfer analytical methods to contract manufacturing and contract testing laboratories.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or an associate’s degree with 2 years of scientific experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 4 years of scientific experience.
• Experience with analytical chemistry and hands-on laboratory work.
• Experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Knowledge of chromatographic instruments such as liquid chromatography and gas chromatography, and spectroscopic instruments such as mass spectrometry.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology laboratory settings.
• Knowledge of regulatory, compliance, and scientific discovery considerations.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, physical, pharmaceutical, life sciences, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with process development, scale-up, and formulation development.
• Experience with mass spectrometry, vibrational spectroscopy, or nuclear magnetic resonance.
