What you will do

• Develop responsive web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Build scalable Node.js microservices and integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Utilize AWS Lambda to build and manage serverless microservices, optimizing for cost and performance.
• Implement search capabilities with OpenSearch and manage data via DynamoDB and Relational DBs.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX designers, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and experience with microservice patterns (5+ years).
• Deep understanding of OO best practices and front-end technologies (React, Next.js, TypeScript).
• 3+ years of experience with Relational DBs, specifically Postgres.
• 1+ year of experience working with AWS services.
• Must be a resident of the 50 United States or Washington, D.C.

Nice to have

• BS or MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Experience in developing Software as a Service (SaaS).
• Familiarity with Shopify, Salesforce, Snowflake, or PowerBI.
