Industry Solution Leader (Healthcare / Life Sciences (Payer)) (AI)

Location: Redwood City, California, United States. Travel to customer locations may be required. Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship.

Salary: $130,000–$203,000 USD annual base pay.

What you will do

• Own solution strategy, technical direction, delivery outcomes, and customer value from problem definition through production deployment and scale.
• Lead customer-facing engagements involving healthcare payer operations, including claims, prior authorization, utilization management, provider operations, and member services.
• Translate complex operational and supply chain challenges into AI, machine learning, optimization, and software solutions with defined requirements and success criteria.
• Lead use case definition, requirements gathering, solution architecture, configuration, validation, deployment, user adoption, and scale-out.
• Direct cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, product managers, and industry experts.
• Partner with product, engineering, and sales teams on reusable capabilities, demonstrations, statements of work, and deployment plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations research, supply chain management, industrial engineering, computer science, mathematics, economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, operations, planning, logistics, procurement, pricing, operations research, or technically focused consulting.
• Hands-on experience inside a health plan or payer operations organization, with direct exposure to claims, prior authorization, utilization management, provider operations, or member services.
• Experience leading complex customer-facing technical engagements and working with operational, technical, commercial, and executive stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, presentation, written communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• United States work authorization without current or future company sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering AI, machine learning, operations research, mathematical optimization, advanced analytics, or supply chain digital transformation solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, analytics, optimization tools, application configuration, or scripting.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, o9, or similar enterprise planning systems.
• Advanced degree in engineering, operations research, supply chain, analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.
