Industry Solution Leader - Heavy Industrial (Mining & Milling Asset Performance and Optimization)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States, or New York, New York, United States. Ability to travel to customer locations as required.

Salary: $130,000–$167,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Own solution strategy, technical direction, delivery outcomes, and customer value from problem definition through production deployment and scale.
• Lead customer-facing discovery across mining, milling, cement, and other heavy industrial operations, including equipment, processes, constraints, and business objectives.
• Identify and quantify opportunities in equipment reliability, maintenance, throughput, yield, quality, energy efficiency, process optimization, and operating economics.
• Translate engineering and operational challenges into AI, machine learning, optimization, and software solutions with measurable success criteria.
• Lead use case definition, requirements gathering, architecture, configuration, validation, deployment, user adoption, and scale-out.
• Coordinate Forward Deployed Engineers, data scientists, product managers, engineers, industry experts, and customer stakeholders while supporting sales, statements of work, and reusable solution methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; backgrounds in mechanical, chemical, electrical, industrial, mining, metallurgical, petroleum, or materials engineering are preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, reliability, maintenance, industrial technology, or technically focused consulting.
• Hands-on experience in mineral processing or cement/aggregates production, including crushing, grinding or milling, classification, flotation or beneficiation, kiln or clinker operations, or slurry systems.
• Experience owning or improving throughput, recovery, energy intensity, reliability, plant bottlenecks, production performance, quality, or maintenance effectiveness.
• Experience with industrial data and systems such as sensor and time-series data, process historians, SCADA, DCS, MES, EAM/CMMS, ERP, advanced process control, or industrial analytics platforms.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, optimization, predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, or industrial digital transformation solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, analytics tools, application configuration, scripting, or industrial data analysis.
• Experience with rotating equipment, electrical equipment, production equipment, manufacturing lines, mining systems, utility assets, or other complex industrial systems.
• Experience taking solutions from proof of value through production deployment and scaling across assets, plants, facilities, or business units.
• Advanced degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.
