Industry Solution Leader - Healthcare / Life Sciences (Payer) (AI)

Location: Redwood City, California, United States. The role requires travel to customer locations as needed and authorization to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship.

Salary: $130,000–$167,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Own solution strategy, technical direction, delivery outcomes, and customer value from problem definition through production deployment and scale.
• Lead customer-facing discovery, requirements gathering, solution architecture, configuration, validation, adoption, and deployment activities.
• Apply payer operations expertise across claims, prior authorization, utilization management, provider operations, and member services.
• Translate operational challenges into AI, machine learning, optimization, and software solutions with measurable success criteria.
• Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, product managers, and industry experts.
• Partner with product, engineering, and sales teams to develop reusable capabilities, deployment plans, demonstrations, and industry methodologies.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience working inside a health plan or payer operations organization.
• Direct exposure to claims, prior authorization, utilization management, provider operations, or member services.
• Ownership of cost, turnaround time, productivity, payment integrity, or service performance outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations research, supply chain management, computer science, mathematics, economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, operations, planning, logistics, procurement, pricing, operations research, or technically focused consulting.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering AI, machine learning, operations research, mathematical optimization, or advanced analytics solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, analytics, optimization tools, application configuration, or scripting.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, o9, or similar enterprise planning platforms.
• Advanced degree in engineering, operations research, supply chain, analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.
