Industry Solution Leader - Healthcare / Life Sciences (Laboratory) (AI)

Location: New York, New York, United States; travel to customer locations may be required.

Base pay: $130,000–$203,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Own solution strategy, technical direction, delivery outcomes, and customer value from problem definition through production deployment and scale.
• Lead customer-facing discovery across laboratory workflows, including specimen intake and accessioning, routing, analyzers, logistics, capacity, staffing, quality, and turnaround time.
• Translate operational challenges into AI, machine learning, optimization, and software problems with clear requirements, constraints, success criteria, and business value.
• Lead use-case definition, requirements gathering, solution architecture, configuration, validation, deployment, adoption, and scale-out.
• Direct cross-functional teams of forward-deployed engineers, data scientists, product managers, engineers, and industry experts.
• Partner with customers, product management, engineering, and sales teams to develop reusable solutions, deployment plans, demonstrations, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations research, supply chain management, industrial engineering, computer science, mathematics, economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• At least 7 years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, operations, planning, logistics, procurement, pricing, operations research, or technically focused consulting.
• Hands-on experience in high-volume diagnostic or laboratory operations, including specimen intake/accessioning, routing, analyzers, and laboratory logistics.
• Experience leading complex, customer-facing technical engagements and working with operational, technical, commercial, and executive stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, presentation, written communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering AI, machine learning, operations research, mathematical optimization, advanced analytics, or supply chain digital transformation solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, analytics, optimization tools, application configuration, or scripting.
• Experience deploying forecasting, inventory, pricing, production, scheduling, network optimization, or decision-support solutions.
• Experience scaling technical solutions across plants, products, regions, networks, or business units.
• Advanced degree in engineering, operations research, supply chain, analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.
