Industry Solution Leader - Heavy Industrial (Mini-Mill Supply Chain and Asset Performance)

Location: New York, New York, United States. Ability to travel to customer locations as required. Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship.

Salary: $130,000–$167,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Own solution strategy, technical direction, delivery outcomes, and production scale for customer engagements.
• Lead customer discovery across supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, finance, technology, and executive functions.
• Identify and quantify opportunities in planning, inventory, production, scheduling, pricing, procurement, logistics, fulfillment, and working capital.
• Translate operational challenges into AI, machine learning, optimization, and software solutions with defined constraints and success criteria.
• Lead requirements gathering, architecture, configuration, validation, deployment, adoption, and scale-out.
• Direct Forward Deployed Engineers, data scientists, product managers, engineers, and industry experts while communicating business value and technical risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations research, supply chain management, industrial engineering, computer science, mathematics, economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, operations, planning, logistics, procurement, pricing, operations research, or technically focused consulting.
• Hands-on experience in an EAF or mini-mill environment, including scrap charge, EAF, ladle metallurgy, caster, and rolling operations.
• Deep knowledge of supply chain planning, manufacturing operations, optimization, constraints, inventory, capacity, production, and network flows.
• Experience with enterprise supply chain data and platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, o9, or similar systems.
• Experience leading complex customer-facing technical engagements and collaborating with engineers, data scientists, product managers, and executive stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering AI, machine learning, operations research, mathematical optimization, advanced analytics, or supply chain digital transformation solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, analytics, optimization tools, scripting, or application configuration.
• Experience deploying and scaling forecasting, inventory, pricing, production, scheduling, network optimization, or decision-support solutions.
• Advanced degree in engineering, operations research, supply chain, analytics, or a related quantitative field.
