Manufacturing Automation Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Design and develop automation solutions for assembly, testing, and quality assurance processes.
• Identify automation and process improvement opportunities to increase throughput and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to implement controls and monitoring systems.
• Install, debug, and maintain automated equipment and robotics on the production floor.
• Create documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials for automated processes.
• Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement in manufacturing automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automation engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing automation, robotics, or controls engineering.
• Proficiency with PLC programming, industrial control systems, and automation software.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with robotic systems integration and machine vision.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing, preferably in drone or robotics industries.
• Knowledge of manufacturing automation safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies and IoT integration in manufacturing.
