Electromechanical Integration Technician (Robotics)

Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX

What you will do

• Install and integrate electrical, sensor, and mechanical autonomy kits onto heavy equipment platforms.
• Run and terminate wiring harnesses, mount sensors, and ensure robust installations for field use.
• Perform systems-level functional testing and checkout before and after deployment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot integration issues across electrical, mechanical, and software interfaces.
• Support field installations and on-site technical troubleshooting at active construction sites.
• Maintain detailed documentation to support quality control and design improvements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in mechanical or electromechanical integration or a related technical role.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical instructions.
• Proficiency with hand tools, multimeters, and standard wiring/termination techniques.
• Must be willing to relocate to Austin, TX if not within commuting distance.
• Must be willing to travel to job sites as needed to support field installations.
• Ability to work in both shop environments and active outdoor construction sites.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating electronics or sensor systems onto heavy equipment or industrial machinery.
• Familiarity with cable routing in high-vibration environments.
• Experience supporting field deployments in a fast-paced startup environment.
