Senior AI Automation Engineer (Data Annotation Services)

Location: Onsite in Irving, Texas (Dallas), five days per week. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants.

Salary: $112,710–$183,140 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and deploy automated labeling and captioning solutions for perception and Vision-Language-Action datasets.
• Train, fine-tune, and evaluate models for auto-labeling, auto-captioning, and annotation quality automation.
• Build data pipelines covering automated labeling, human review, quality validation, and dataset publication.
• Implement and extend NVIDIA Cosmos Curator, Cosmos Reason, and related AI automation technologies.
• Integrate hirify.global data systems with external annotation providers and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, observability, and operational excellence across annotation automation services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, or a related field.
• Production software engineering experience with Python, modern engineering practices, and containerization platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing distributed systems, APIs, data processing pipelines, and machine learning model training or deployment.
• At least 2 years of experience with camera and LiDAR sensor datasets, data collection pipelines, and ground-truth generation.
• At least 1 year of experience with data annotation and quality assurance for autonomous systems or computer vision projects.
• Experience with annotation and dataset management tools such as Labelbox, Supervisely, RoboFlow, or similar platforms, plus PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX, Weights & Biases, MLflow, or comparable tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with computer vision, robotics, autonomy, Physical AI, or multimodal AI systems.
• Experience with AI-assisted annotation, auto-labeling, foundation models, vision models, or multimodal models.
• Experience with NVIDIA Cosmos Curator, Cosmos Reason, Vision-Language-Action datasets, or sensor data including cameras, LiDAR, and radar.
• Experience with cloud platforms, MLOps, machine learning deployment pipelines, and human-in-the-loop quality automation.
