(USA) Staff, Software Engineer (AI/ML)

Location: Onsite at the ISD Office - DGTC AR Bentonville Home Office, 805 SE Moberly Ln., Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Annual salary: $110,000–$220,000, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Deliver platform capabilities including infrastructure, developer tooling, and ML frameworks.
• Drive coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and other full software development lifecycle activities.
• Apply cloud-native architecture, microservices, containers, and automation to build scalable and resilient systems.
• Lead system design reviews and influence architectural decisions and engineering standards.
• Build AI-driven applications with ML components and intelligent automation features.
• Mentor engineers, collaborate with stakeholders, and use data-driven metrics to improve development processes.

Requirements

• Expertise in cloud-native architecture, microservices, containers, and automation.
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns, API design, and platform development.
• Experience leading full software development lifecycle activities, including CI/CD deployment and maintenance.
• Ability to integrate AI/ML components and develop intelligent automation using Python, Java, or C++.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus 4 years of software engineering experience, or 6 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with mentoring, technical decision-making, data-driven problem-solving, software security, and quality assurance.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related area.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
