Senior Machine Learning Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid schedule based in Lehi, Utah, US

What you will do

• Build and maintain datasets, evaluation rubrics, automated judges, and regression systems for the generative content engine.
• Convert brand rejection reasons into structured, labeled training data for model improvements.
• Quantify qualitative improvements in AI-generated titles, bullets, A+ modules, and imagery.
• Define and defend approval thresholds with data science and brand teams.
• Build production quality gates that identify problematic outputs before brand review and reduce rework.

Requirements

• Strong coding and system design experience in any language or technology stack.
• 3+ years owning production software services end to end.
• Formal statistics or machine learning training, or equivalent professional depth.
• Experience engineering systems with non-deterministic outputs where correctness must be measured.
• Ability to work on a hybrid schedule based in Lehi, Utah, US.

Nice to have

• Fine-tuning experience, including LoRA or PEFT.
• Hands-on LLM or generative media production experience.
• Evaluation-system ownership, multimodal evaluation, ecommerce knowledge, human-labeling operations, or A/B testing infrastructure experience.
