Industry Solution Leader - Food & Agriculture (Food Manufacturing, AI)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; travel to customer locations as required. Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship.

Salary: $130,000–$203,000 USD annual base pay

What you will do

• Own solution strategy, technical direction, delivery outcomes, and customer value from problem definition through production deployment and scale.
• Lead customer-facing discovery with engineering, operations, maintenance, reliability, and executive stakeholders.
• Identify and quantify opportunities in equipment reliability, maintenance, production performance, throughput, yield, quality, energy efficiency, and operating economics.
• Translate industrial challenges into AI, machine learning, optimization, and software requirements with measurable success criteria.
• Lead solution architecture, configuration, validation, deployment, user adoption, and scale-out with Forward Deployed Engineers, data scientists, product managers, and engineers.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to develop reusable industrial capabilities, methodologies, and solution patterns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, reliability, maintenance, industrial technology, or technically focused consulting.
• Hands-on food or beverage plant operations experience, including continuous or batch processing, packaging, utilities, and ownership of OEE, yield, throughput, quality, sanitation/CIP, downtime, labor, or energy outcomes.
• Experience with industrial equipment, production processes, process controls, maintenance practices, operational workflows, and industrial data such as sensor, time-series, alarm, maintenance, production, and quality data.
• Experience with industrial systems such as process historians, SCADA, DCS, MES, EAM/CMMS, ERP, advanced process control, or industrial analytics platforms.
• United States work authorization without current or future company sponsorship; ability to travel to customer locations.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, optimization, predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, or industrial digital transformation solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, analytics tools, application configuration, scripting, or industrial data analysis.
• Experience taking solutions from proof of value through production deployment and scaling them across assets, plants, facilities, or business units.
• Advanced degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.
