Construction Scheduler - Memphis

Location: Southaven, Mississippi, or Memphis, Tennessee; fully onsite with regular site visits

What you will do

• Build baseline CPM schedules from drawings, specifications, estimates, bid packages, and construction sequences.
• Maintain live schedules using field progress, including weekly look-aheads and monthly official updates.
• Own the critical path, identify near-critical work and float erosion, and explain schedule changes.
• Analyze RFIs, change orders, design delays, procurement constraints, weather, labor shortages, and recovery scenarios.
• Coordinate schedules with project managers, superintendents, estimators, procurement, design teams, owners, construction managers, and subcontractors.
• Prepare time-impact analyses, variance reports, S-curves, histograms, executive summaries, and delay documentation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of construction scheduling experience on active projects in a general contractor, construction manager, owner project-controls, or specialty-contractor environment.
• 4+ years of experience using Oracle Primavera P6, including calendars, relationship types, filters, layouts, project data, and schedule-quality checks.
• 4+ years of experience with owner- or construction-manager specification-driven schedules, such as DCMA 14-point or USACE standards.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, CPM logic, critical-path analysis, resource loading, and schedule updates.
• Willingness to work extended hours when needed, including a current six-day, 12-hour construction cadence.
• Comfort working in a fully onsite environment.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field, or equivalent field experience.
• PSP, PMI-SP, PMP, CCM, or a similar credential.
• Experience with forensic delay analysis, claims support, earned value, cost/resource loading, Last Planner, or pull planning.
• Experience with BIM 4D tools such as Navisworks or Synchro.
• Experience with Power BI, Smartsheet, Procore, or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
