Propulsion Manufacturing Intern (Aerospace)

Base hourly pay: $29 per hour

What you will do

• Design and build factory equipment used to manufacture satellites.
• Deliver a physical propulsion subsystem from tank to thruster that is ready for space operation.
• Apply hands-on design and development skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Identify and fix equipment, process, and cross-team communication issues.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, or NX.
• Strong interest in manufacturing and hands-on product development.
• Motivation to investigate and improve equipment and production processes.
• U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or refugee/asylee status is required to comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience building or testing liquid propulsion systems.
• Experience writing work instructions or test procedures, or using MES/ERP software.
• Experience with welding, machining, or designing welded or machined components.
