Hiring ranges: $195,000–$260,000 USD for US Tier 1 locations; $179,000–$239,000 USD for US Tier 2 locations; $166,000–$221,000 USD for US Tier 3 locations.

What you will do

• Own the shared browser control foundation and building blocks used by internal teams and external software.
• Drive adoption and usage of the platform while maintaining reliability and security.
• Advance the WebDriver BiDi open standard and develop Firefox-specific capabilities.
• Design safety controls that let people approve actions, see when software is acting for them, and take back control.
• Define the strategy for major third-party AI assistants and serve internal products and outside tools through one shared layer.

Requirements

• Product-minded engineering background or experience leading highly technical products.
• Experience in developer-focused products, with the ability to consider consumer and internal platform needs.
• Ability to set strategy in ambiguous environments and own a technical contract relied upon by other teams.
• Strong judgment around security and trust.

Nice to have

• Experience with web standards, MCP, or browser automation.
