IE (Industrial Engineer) Intern

Location: Korat, Thailand; onsite

What you will do

• Design production layouts that improve process flow, minimize distance, and maximize space capacity.
• Analyze process flow and calculate Hour Per Unit requirements based on product mix, process requirements, and roadmap plans.
• Assess the impact of new equipment and manufacturing technologies.
• Apply Lean concepts and industrial engineering tools to improve the utilization of people, materials, machines, and space.
• Design automated data workflows supporting Factory 4.0 initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• Good knowledge of hard disk drive manufacturing.
• Experience with data analytics platforms and simulation software such as FlexSim and Arena, or the ability to query and analyze database systems.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage conflicting deadlines, and take ownership in a dynamic environment.
