Reworking Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Rayong, Thailand; onsite five days a week

What you will do

• Manage and coordinate rework activities for non-conforming production parts across internal facilities and external suppliers.
• Work with manufacturing, quality, engineering change, supplier quality, warehouse, and design teams to establish and execute rework plans.
• Coordinate supplier quotations, assess rework feasibility, issue purchase requisitions and orders, and monitor completion.
• Prioritize and assign rework tasks while maintaining equipment, tools, and operational resources.
• Track rework status, material flow, recovery progress, and management reporting.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rework time and costs while maintaining quality and safety compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in the automotive, manufacturing, or related industry.
• Experience in supply chain, warehouse management, or material flow management.
• Good knowledge of SAP and ERP systems, plus experience managing non-conforming materials and rework processes.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing operations.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, specifications, and change management processes such as ECN and deviation requisitions.
