Intern Asset Management (Utilities)

Location: Merrillville, IN or Wheatfield, IN; candidates must reside within 50 miles of the reporting location.

Salary: $18.90–$33.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support renewable generation staff with projects addressing utility facility needs.
• Evaluate electric generation facilities and provide project management support.
• Collect and analyze data, review records, and interpret legal agreements.
• Create work orders and purchase requisitions.
• Perform field measurements and support emergency response activities when needed.

Requirements

• Must be a current student authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
• Be enrolled in an accredited four-year engineering, business, or operations program and have completed at least one year of undergraduate study.
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week during the 12-week summer 2027 internship starting in May 2027.
• Proficiency with PC applications; strong Microsoft 365 skills are preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to learn quickly.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a strong commitment to safety.
