TL;DR
IT Support Lead (Web3): Managing end-user IT support, core IT systems, procurement, and vendor relationships for a remote-first global organisation with an accent on hands-on escalation management, AI-enabled automation, and distributed hardware delivery. Focus on building reliable support operations, improving onboarding and offboarding, and solving complex infrastructure and procurement challenges across countries.
Location: Remote from the UK

What you will do
- Manage and mentor an End User Support Specialist and coordinate support tickets from creation through resolution.
- Provide hands-on end-user support and act as the escalation point for complex or high-stakes issues.
- Adopt AI and automation across ticket triage, recurring workflows, reporting, and IT support processes.
- Own IT procurement, vendor selection, hardware purchasing, international delivery, and provider performance monitoring.
- Manage core IT systems, global onboarding and offboarding, incidents, and service-provider communications.
- Collaborate with SRE, Security, and Workplace teams on IT security, compliance, and reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT support or IT operations, including team management or mentoring.
- Experience with user access management in a multi-SaaS environment, plus MDM and EDR products.
- Strong knowledge of LAN and WLAN infrastructure, network devices, firewalls, and access points.
- Working knowledge of Linux and macOS, command-line interfaces, and on-premise server hardware.
- Understanding of software development team workflows, common open-source software, and cross-functional operations.
- English proficiency at C1 level or native-speaker level is required.
