Senior Product Manager, Data Center

Location: Hybrid role based at an assigned Intel site in the United States; primary location is Hillsboro, Oregon, with additional locations in Phoenix, Arizona; Folsom and Santa Clara, California; and Austin, Texas.

Annual salary: $160,980–$311,040 USD, depending on work location, experience, skills, and education.

What you will do

• Own Intel Xeon products across definition, planning, development, production, launch, upgrades, sustaining decisions, and end-of-life.
• Coordinate design, architecture, process technology, manufacturing, testing, quality, marketing, and business stakeholders.
• Use competitive intelligence, customer insights, workload analysis, and ecosystem feedback to influence product priorities and roadmap decisions.
• Define competitive positioning and product messaging based on workload KPIs, customer value, and performance leadership.
• Drive workload and KPI readiness gates across validation, debugging, and performance optimization teams.
• Represent product readiness, risks, and mitigation plans in executive reviews and support global launches with marketing, communications, PR, and sales enablement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field, plus 7+ years of experience.
• 7+ years of experience in semiconductor product management, technical marketing, or product architecture.
• 7+ years of experience owning end-to-end hardware or platform products, including launches and lifecycle management.
• Experience operating at the system or platform level and influencing senior engineering stakeholders without direct authority.
• Ability to connect architecture intent, workload performance, competitive positioning, and customer value.
• Experience with server or data center platforms involving CPU, memory, and I/O, or with hyperscale, CSP, OEM, or ODM customers is advantageous.

Nice to have

• MBA or equivalent experience translating technical trade-offs into business, portfolio, and market implications.
• Hands-on experience with workload-based performance or benchmarking frameworks such as MLPerf, SPEC, TPC, or equivalent internal systems.
• Experience setting success criteria and driving product trade-offs in ambiguous environments.
