AI & Automation Technical Product Manager (Aerospace): Building and managing supply chain tools and digital solutions for safe, reliable, reusable propulsion systems with an accent on user research, prototyping, process improvement, and roadmap execution. Focus on evaluating emerging technologies, integrating enterprise systems and APIs, and solving complex compliance, cycle-time, quality, and operational challenges across engineering and supply chain teams.

Location: Greater Seattle Area, United States; support up to 10% domestic travel.

Base pay for Washington applicants: $141,162–$197,626.80 annually. Other site ranges may differ.

What you will do

  • Lead initiatives supporting the development, testing, verification, certification, and operation of supply chain tools across hirify.global programs.
  • Research user needs through interviews, workshops, and collaborative methods to identify digital and procedural solutions.
  • Develop strategies, prototypes, experiments, and measurable product experiences for future propulsion systems.
  • Establish and improve supply chain processes and products that collect compliance data, reduce cycle time, defects, and rework, and improve user acceptance.
  • Scout innovative technologies, evaluate commercial software, and facilitate purchases and deployments.
  • Develop and communicate tool roadmaps while collaborating with executives, engineering, design, research, product, and supply chain partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 10+ years of experience building software or digital solutions.
  • Experience in aerospace or another safety-critical environment.
  • Experience with human-centered design, customer experience, strategic product or service vision, and collaboration with creative partners.
  • Technical expertise, leadership skills, strong quality focus, and commitment to safe human spaceflight.
  • Applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, U.S. permanent residents, or lawfully admitted refugees or asylees.

Nice to have

  • Systems engineering, aerospace engineering, or manufacturing experience.
  • Experience working with senior leadership and key partners in a matrix organization.
  • Experience developing applications around Windchill, Jama, ERP, MRP, and their APIs.
  • Experience shaping continuous improvement across engineering processes and toolsets.
