Pharmacy Technician, Material Management

Location: 450 Brookline Ave, Boston, MA 02215; 100% onsite

Salary: $60,195.20–$70,543.20 per year

What you will do

• Support pharmacy operations under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Receive, sort, stock, replenish, rotate, and transport pharmacy inventory and supplies.
• Fulfill orders from departments, vendors, and sponsors using established pharmacy procedures.
• Use electronic health records, inventory management systems, medication storage equipment, and other pharmacy technologies.
• Perform quality control, expiration-date checks, cycle counts, and semi-annual physical inventory.
• Support invoice reconciliation, troubleshoot issues, escalate problems, and participate in special projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience, including 1 year in compounding, outpatient or retail pharmacy, or inventory management.
• Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
• Ability to work onsite in Boston and adjust work schedules to meet daily operational demands.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, communication, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work professionally with pharmacy staff, patients, nurses, providers, and support personnel.

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification through PTCB.
