CT Technologist III

Location: Lowell General Hospital, Lowell, Massachusetts, United States

Pay range: $48.60–$61.96 per hour

What you will do

• Independently perform CT scans according to department policies, radiological standards, and American College of Radiology imaging standards.
• Verify patient identity, procedures, imaging protocols, scanner parameters, and examination requirements.
• Provide patient instructions, ensure patient and staff safety, obtain IV access, and administer IV contrast.
• Perform equipment quality control, maintain supplies, and keep work areas clean and functional.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and service lines.
• Train and educate students and technologists on procedures and techniques.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Radiology or a related field.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification and ARRT or NMTCB CT certification.
• Eligibility for a state radiologic technologist license.
• Four years of experience as a CT Technologist.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Knowledge of radiologic equipment, examinations, procedures, and radiation safety protocols; strong communication, customer service, organization, and independent-working skills.

Nice to have

• X-ray experience.
