Manager, Pharmacy Technicians

Location: Remote-FL; U.S. work authorization required

Salary: $70,100–$126,200 per year

What you will do

• Manage the triage process for prior authorization and coverage determination requests.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and manage departmental workflow and staffing levels.
• Develop, monitor, and improve prior authorization policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with departments, providers, and pharmacies to resolve escalated inquiries and communicate clinical outcomes.
• Oversee quality control, audits, operational integrity, and compliance with applicable procedures.
• Use multiple pharmacy systems to track requests and determine when pharmacist review is required.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of pharmacy technician experience in a mail-order, hospital, or retail pharmacy setting.
• At least 1 year of combined lead or supervisory and customer service experience.
• Current state Pharmacy Technician license.

Nice to have

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board certification (CPhT).
