Sr Director, Product Design - Hot Wheels

Salary: $196,000–$245,000 annually

What you will do

• Establish the creative vision and product design strategy for Hot Wheels and a portfolio of product lines.
• Lead innovative product concepts and consumer experiences from concept development through commercialization.
• Translate consumer insights, cultural trends, technologies, materials, and evolving play patterns into product opportunities.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing product design team while managing workloads and resources.
• Partner with Marketing, Consumer Insights, Product Development, Engineering, Packaging, Licensing, Finance, and Commercial teams.
• Work with global and Asia-based development partners to deliver products on time, on cost, and at high quality.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive product design experience and a record of bringing successful consumer products to market.
• Experience leading teams through the full product development lifecycle, from concept generation through commercialization.
• Proven experience in coaching, mentoring, talent development, and succession planning.
• Strong understanding of product design, manufacturing, costing, engineering, and development processes.
• Experience managing multiple brands, categories, or product portfolios and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including presentations to executive audiences.
