Associate Product Developer (Retail)

Location: Full-time onsite at the Corporate Office in Boston Heights, Ohio, USA

What you will do

• Establish seasonal direction for new products with the Product Developer and Vice President of Product Development.
• Develop holistic product categories in partnership with merchandising and planning teams.
• Identify assortment expansion opportunities and ways to increase sales penetration.
• Coordinate product distribution with Buying and ensure timely, accurate website launches with the web team.
• Build and maintain vendor relationships while coordinating packaging specifications and product compliance with Sourcing and Quality Control.
• Manage product information, specification sheets, sample purchase orders, SKU data, and seasonal assortment plans from start to finish.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree in design, merchandising, or a related field.
• 3+ years of design, product development, or merchandising experience in a retail setting.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, and the ability to learn new computer systems quickly.
• Excellent organizational, time management, communication, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a high-energy environment and demonstrate initiative.
• Passion for interior design and products; willingness and ability to travel.
