Logistics Management Specialist

Location: On-site at White Sands Missile Range near Las Cruces, New Mexico, United States. Travel requirement: 50% or more.

What you will do

• Manage the logistics lifecycle for aerial target systems, equipment, repair parts, and support assets.
• Plan and execute Integrated Logistics Support activities covering sustainment, provisioning, maintenance coordination, and operational readiness.
• Provide logistics, acquisition, inventory, and operational data for procurement and resource-allocation decisions.
• Maintain provisioning records, technical publications, supply documentation, and ammunition accountability records.
• Coordinate transportation and movement of target systems, munitions, repair parts, and related assets.
• Act as a liaison between government organizations, contractors, program offices, test-range organizations, and operational customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, aviation management, engineering, or a related field, plus 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting logistics operations, sustainment activities, or Integrated Logistics Support programs.
• Experience with inventory management, repair parts, supply accountability, or provisioning.
• Experience coordinating with government organizations, contractors, or program management offices.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Eligibility to obtain Ammo-62 qualification within one year of hire.

Nice to have

• Experience with aerial target systems, unmanned systems, aviation platforms, missile systems, or test-range operations.
• Ammo-62 qualification.
• Experience supporting Department of War logistics, aviation logistics, or weapons-system sustainment programs.
• Experience with ammunition accountability, mission planning, and operational readiness activities.
• Knowledge of government acquisition and logistics-support requirements.
