Associate, Wonderful Store (Retail)

Location: Shafter, California, USA; onsite retail position

Salary: $21.00–$23.00 per hour

What you will do

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service throughout their visit.
• Build product and wine knowledge to recommend wines based on preferences, occasions, meals, and flavor profiles.
• Operate the Clover/C7 point-of-sale system and complete transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, stocked, and visually appealing sales floor and storage area.
• Receive, inspect, organize, replenish, and monitor products and merchandise.
• Support opening and closing procedures, promotional events, inventory activities, and store operations.

Requirements

• At least two years of customer service experience in retail, cashiering, hospitality, food service, or a related field.
• Basic wine knowledge; CMS Level 1 or WSET Level 1 is a plus.
• At least 21 years of age is required for wine-related responsibilities and licensing requirements.
• Strong public speaking, presentation, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues and cross-functional partners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; California RBS wine pouring certification is preferred.
