Shipping and Receiving (1st Shift)

Location: West Bend, Wisconsin, United States; onsite

Salary: $18.00–$20.20 per hour, with a $1 per hour mid-shift differential.

What you will do

• Receive, unload, inspect, store, and record materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products.
• Pack and ship printed products and customer samples through freight, LTL carriers, FedEx, UPS, USPS, and similar services.
• Prepare bills of lading, shipping documents, labels, weights, charges, and handling instructions.
• Operate forklifts, pallet handlers, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment to stage materials and load trucks.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving activities with customers, suppliers, customer service, production, and other departments.
• Maintain organized files, a secure shipping dock, product quality, and compliance with safety procedures.

Requirements

• Two years of administrative or operational support experience in shipping or manufacturing operations.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial vehicles.
• Knowledge of materials tracking, storage and retrieval, inventory control, reporting systems, computers, and software programs.
• Strong organizational, communication, documentation, and basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 50 pounds, and occasionally more than 50 pounds.
