Transportation Analyst

Location: Anderson, South Carolina office; work in office and warehouse environments as business needs require

TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. operates in the consumer power tools industry and manages domestic and international supply chain activities.

What you will do

• Optimize carrier selection for standard and expedited air, ocean, surface, truckload, LTL, parcel, and intermodal shipments.
• Review freight invoices, investigate discrepancies, and prepare supporting documentation for approval.
• Develop carrier performance scorecards and transportation databases covering cost, utilization, delivery timeliness, and service KPIs.
• Analyze transportation processes and recommend cost savings, service improvements, carrier-network changes, and operational efficiencies.
• Monitor inbound containers, diversions, demurrage, and detention exposure while providing shipment updates and management reports.
• Coordinate export shipments and documentation with freight forwarders, ocean carriers, customs brokers, booking agents, and internal supply chain stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least three years of transportation, logistics, customs compliance, supply chain, or related experience.
• Experience with ocean, air, truckload, LTL, parcel, and intermodal transportation.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, import/export procedures, international trade practices, U.S. Customs regulations, and Harmonized Tariff Schedule classifications.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis tools, plus experience with TMS, ERP systems, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and ocean carriers.
• Ability to work in the Anderson office and warehouse environments and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
