Software Developer - Financials (Full Stack, Angular)

Location: Hybrid from hirify.global offices in Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Lake Saint Louis, Missouri; or Mandan, North Dakota. Work from an office at least 3 days per week, including Tuesday and Wednesday; the third office day is agreed with the supervisor.

What you will do

• Design and build responsive web applications for the iVUE Connect Financials product.
• Develop RESTful web services using cloud-native and container-driven technologies.
• Work with Kubernetes, microservices, databases, and related cloud services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research, design, and implement new features.
• Investigate and resolve moderately complex customer issues and software defects.
• Explore and prototype agent-based AI features that improve user experience and automate workflows.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of software development experience.
• Experience with Angular and TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Experience with Java or another object-oriented programming language.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle and cloud technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, Kafka, SSO, or Cassandra.
• Knowledge of responsive development, performance optimization, software architecture, automated testing, Git workflows, and test-driven development.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with agentic AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Augment, JetBrains Junie, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or OpenAI Codex.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo.
